UniALUMNI connects and empowers a global alumni community to contribute meaningfully to the future of UBD and the nation of Brunei. Through purposeful engagement, inclusive initiatives, and alumni storytelling, we provide platforms for sharing insights, amplifying impact, and sustaining lifelong connections with the University.

 

What is UniALUMNI (Office of University Alumni)?

UniALUMNI is the administrative office responsible for managing and updating the status of UBD alumni.

 

Who is considered a UBD alumni?

UBD alumni include all individuals who have:

  • Completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme at UBD

  • Attended a diploma, certificate, or exchange programme at UBD for at least one semester

  • Been conferred an honorary degree or special award by UBD

Areas of Service

Alumni are one of the most important stakeholders of the university. Once someone has received a degree and any other short courses offered by UBD, it becomes part of their life. Therefore, it is important for UBD to maintain an ongoing relationship with its alumni.

What Do We Do

Alumni Relations

We facilitate lifelong relationships between UBD and its alumni by providing platforms for networking, events, collaborations, and access to alumni benefits-enabling alumni to stay connected and actively contribute to the university community.

Engagement

We engage current students, alumni, and partners through meaningful events, programmes, and collaborative projects that encourage knowledge-sharing, and participation across generations.

 

Get reconnected and reunited

Once an individual has graduated from UBD or has undergone short courses in UBD, he or she is automatically an UBD alumnus. Alumni are encouraged to be involved in supporting UBD through numerous events, programmes and services.
