Alumni Frequently Asked Questions

All individuals who have:

• Completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme,
• Attended a diploma, certificate, or exchange programme of at least one semester, or
• Been conferred an honorary degree or special award by UBD

All graduates are automatically part of the UBD alumni community.

• Activate your Digital Alumni ID Card, which grants you access to exclusive events, personal & professional opportunities, as well as other alumni privileges.

There are many ways to give back:

• Share your expertise by speaking at events, facilitating workshops or contributing to research collaborations.
• Provide internships, job placements, or networking opportunities for graduates.
• Offer sponsorships, donations, or support for scholarships and campus initiatives.
• Volunteer for alumni-led activities, outreach programmes, and special events

Option: If you have forgotten your password, please click on 'Reset your password' under the Log in button, type in your email address (with which you registered), and submit your request. We will send you an email to your inbox shortly with a link to generate a new password.

Search for alumni using the search bar found by scrolling to the top of every page. Use a combination of keywords to search for a particular alumni by name, industry, interest, company, etc.

You can also go to the Alumni Community page and use the dropdown to filter alumni.

There are a few reasons why an alumni may not show up:

• Some may have opted out of appearing in the Alumni Community.
• Some may have a special status assigned to their account, which makes them unsearchable
• Only alumni members will have access to and feature in the Community.

Students are not searchable within the Community and cannot be found by other members. Students can only search for Alumni. Only the Alumni you choose to contact will be able to view your profile.

You can also control your visibility at any time by hiding your information or opting out of the Community. To do so, log in and navigate to the “Edit My Profile and Preferences” section.

 

Some events are complimentary whereas some charge a nominal fee. Please refer to the details in the respective event page.
